Window collision prevention kit giveaway

  • UW-Madison Arboretum Visitor Center 2880 Longenecker Drive Madison, WI, 53713 United States (map)

Cedar Waxwings and other songbirds are fueling up at the UW-Madison Arboretum these days as fall fruits ripen. Visit this awesome birdwatching site Wednesday, Sept. 13, to see more of them and stop in the visitor center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to pick up a free kit to help prevent them from colliding with your home windows. (Cedar Waxwings are 51x more likely to collide with home windows than the average bird)

SOS Save Our Songbirds will have a special display up at the visitor center sharing some easy home window solutions and giving away boxes of Feather Friendly Bird Collision Deterrent Markers while supplies last.
