What Can You Do to Reduce Bird-Window Collisions?

SOS Save Our Songbirds Coordinator Lisa Gaumnitz and Aldo Leopold Audubon Society Vice President Susan Schuller will share the science behind why birds hit windows and discuss local efforts to address the problem. They will demonstrate three easy and affordable window treatments that can help prevent collisions at home. Learn additional ways to help save songbird populations during this free, drop-in program. Take home a free Feather Friendly Window Treatment Kit donated by SOS and pick up a native plant good for birds provided by Johnson’s Nursery, Menomonee Falls (while supplies last). Admission to the workshop and the Birds in Art exhibition is free.
