2025 Native Plant Sale Fundraisers in Wisconsin

People will find growing opportunities in 2025 to add native wildflowers, shrubs and trees to their homes and help raise funds for local organizations. SOS, Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, Holy Wisdom Monastery and Johnson’s Nursery of Menomonee Falls will again team up for a native plant sale with online ordering March 13 through May 11. Plant pick up is Saturday, May 17 at Holy Wisdom Monastery in Middleton or on Madison’s east side at 3030 Gateway Place.

Native plant sales sponsored by Wisconsin nonprofits are sprouting across Wisconsin. These sales are a way for organizations to raise funds for their work while also helping restore more native plants to Wisconsin to benefit birds and other wildlife. The number of such sales has doubled in a few short years, and the number of plant nurseries specializing in selling native plants has been growing too. DNR maintains a list of Wisconsin Native Plant Nurseries.
