2024 Native Plant Sales in Wisconsin
Native plant sales sponsored by Wisconsin nonprofits are sprouting across Wisconsin. These sales are a way for organizations to raise funds for their work while also helping restore more native plants to Wisconsin to benefit birds and other wildlife. The number of such sales has doubled in a few short years, and nine new native plant nurseries have been added since 2021, according to Wisconsin DNR Conservation Biologist Amy Staffen, who maintains DNR’s list of native plant sales and its Wisconsin Native Plant Nurseries list.

Antigo
Wild Ones Northwoods Gateway Chapter Native Plant Sale, June 1, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Antigo Farmers Market, 420 Field Street in Antigo. More details coming soon to the website.
Baraboo
Native Plant Sale Fundraiser for Powered Up Baraboo, Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nanny Park, 5th Street at Oak Street, Baraboo.
Cable
Cable Natural History Museum Pollinator & Native Plant Sale, May 25, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the museum, 13470 County Hwy M, Cable.
Eagle
Friends of North Prairie Native Gardens Native Plant Sale, May 9-12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the white gazebo in the center of town (intersection of Hwys 67/59/NN) in Eagle. On May 9 and 10 at 11 a.m., volunteer Dawn-Marie Staccia will hold a short, in-person class on the basics of starting a pollinator garden and selecting plants.
Eau Claire area
Beaver Creek Reserve Native Plant Sale, online sale opens May 1. Pickup May 10 & 11 at the reserve, S1 County Road K, Fall Creek.
Lake Geneva
Geneva Lake Conservancy will again offer a native plant sale. Details pending.

Wild Ones Green Bay Chapter 2024 Pollinator Kits Native Plant Sale. Order by April 30 for pick up Saturday, June 1.
Hartland
Waukesha County Land Conservancy Native Plant Sale. Order online through May 5; at checkout, complete the shipping address with your information, and then for shipping method choose ”WCLC Preserves” - Pickup at Hartland Ice Age Marsh, Cottonwood Avenue, Hartland, on May 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.”
